Beer Release: Crescent City Coffee
Oh, New Orleans… where music is the third-most spoken language and a given skinny person will simply cease to exist after two weeks. We teamed up with North of the Bayou to use coffee beans the Crescent City way: blended with chicory. Coffee & Chicory is often served Au Lait in New Orleans, but we’re Wisconsinites, so we added beer instead. Being the Dairy State only gets you so far. The base of this beer is a rich, malty brown ale with hints of toffee and chocolate. The coffee and chicory were cold-brewed and added near the end of fermentation to preserve their roasted and earthy aromas. 6.0% ABV.
