Fun Fact: our Quality Manager hated Oaktober, but you’d know that if you listened to our podcast. Not because of the oak, but because the beer was an ale instead of a lager. Proving that time heals at least this kind of wound, we used a slow lager fermentation to produce a proper Oktoberfest for this year’s hoodie and bonfire season. Edtoberfest is an amber-colored beer with rich malt flavors and a subtle touch of German hops.
