I was looking to make a crisp, clean beer that would be refreshing to drink in the summer.
I used mostly Pilsner malt with a touch of Vienna for a light, crisp color and flavor. I then hopped it like a mild Pale Ale, to balance the pilsner malt and give it a nice dry, finish that would not be overly bitter. Finally I dry hopped with Simcoe for a light woodsy aroma that will hopefully take you back to those days at summer camp.
So I present to you, Adult Summer Kamp….
