Who doesn't like the feeling of mom's warm pecan pie this time of year? We sure do and we made a beer to prove it.

See, when there is a generational pecan pie recipe producing pies of such distinct quality that you have no choice but to claim pecan pie as your forever birthday cake, eventually homage must be paid to the pie and the incredibly special "Pie-per" preserving the tradition: Momma Judy. When her husband loves a certain British rock band, "Hey Judes" writes itself. Yesterday our very own Quality Manager Joe Walts gave a presentation at the WI Guild’s Annual Conference on predicting brewhouse efficiency for recipe formulation and on-the-fly adjustments. Joe brings years of experience to our team from his time at Ale Asylum and beyond. We’re glad to have him at K4 and it was great to watch him share his knowledge with conference attendees!

Introducing our limited edition brew Thanksgiving Leftovers. Straight out of your family gathering, we’ve brewed this beer to pack the flavor of your post-Thanksgiving take home container in a glass. You’ll taste flavors of Turkey, Gravy, Mashed Potatoes, and Stuffing all complimented with a hint of your sister-in-laws burnt green bean casserole. It might not taste amazing but it sure tastes great the day after!
